35mm Delta 100 Bulk Rolls - HALF PRICE SALE in the UK

Hello fellow APUG users,

This is my first post on APUG. I've recently got back into B&W photography after many, many years of never having enough time as a long-term parent carer. Alas, my circumstances have now changed and I'm really enjoying my new found freedom and redecovered my interest in B&W photography. I'm currently in the process of building myself a new external darkroom building, it's very inspiring. More on that topic later.

As a way of reducing overall film costs, I decided I would buy some 35mm bulk rolls for practice instead of single 36exp cartirdges.

I used Delta 100 previously and liked it alot. Most uk suppliers are charging in the range of £31 to £38 per box inc VAT.

Came accross http://www.calumetphoto.co.uk/item/137-171X/ which I thought was a great price at just £16.73 per roll.

I order 3x bulk packs which arrived yesterday, all are in date and expires in 18 months time December 2008.

I have no connection with this company but I thought other UK based Delta 100 users might be interested.

Welcome to the forum and that is extremely cheap.

That film at that price = £0.93 a roll with about 1/2 a roll for a test on each bulk roll.

That price is cheaper than I've ever seen it anywhere in North America, except when Freestyle used to sell it as "Arista D-MAX 100".

Now I see that B&H and Freestyle are also listing Delta 100 and FP4 as out of stock in bulk rolls. So when Calumet says it's "discontinued", does that really mean gone for good?

No no! Let's not start another rumour...

Check the Ilford HARMAN PAL:
Delta100 in bulk is "USUALLY AVAILABLE", FP4+ is in stock worldwide.

Sounds more like an unlucky coincidence that three suppliers are out of their stock. It certainly doesn't mean Ilford is...

DISCOUNTED YET AGAIN - ONLY £10 - Expires 12/2008

Hello fellow APUG users,

Just ordered a couple more rolls today at £10.03 each. I asked the sales rep about the long-term availability of this product and was told that they were unaware of any long-term supply problem.

I asked what happens when you run out of stock and was told there would order more stock but it would be sold at the normal price. So who knows!

Hello Wordpress and other APUG Users

Just got a email back from calumetphoto.co.uk, dispite the sales rep telling me they had stock this morning, my order was rejected this afternoon as they have no more stock. I'm very disappointed them getting my hopes up this morning. I thought it was too good to be true.

Never mind, all good things comes to an end at some point.

By the way they've just removed the product item from their website online shop.
