35mm and MF Camera Chest Harness Suggestions and Recommendations

Since the weight of the lens can dominate the weight of 35mm or MF bodies the concept of chest harnesses to carry the camera and lens with the lens pointing down and yet allowing the camera to be raised to ones eye in either landscape or portrait position is appealing. It turns out that a friend had inherited an older version from a friend and he sent it to me. It is comfortable with a large lens mount by its foot to the chest paid. The lens is about 8" long and it is comfortable to carry, disconnect and shoot and reattach. It now has a waterproof lens bucket that can attach to the waist which is about 12" long and 8" in diameter. The company very freely hands out 15% discounts, just call and ask them.

The vest fits will over regular clothes and can be comfortably worn over a large down ski parka.
