Hi all,

Dealing with a very hard shutter release lever I think the problem is under the shutter, with the link between the inside lever that comes out (underneath the shutter) and the ring that is activated from the shutter release button.

So far I have reached this point:

I removed the first part of the bellows from the film chamber and it seems I should unscrew that retaining ring but when I started to move it I had the impression it’s not threaded and it might be as well slip on.
If it would be threaded it would be great, I just continue carefully until it’s out the the shutter would be out.

Another option is to remove the front plate, 6 screws, parallax screw on top plus the link screw from the crank coming to the shutter... but how to handle the system going to the light meter is a absolutely unknown to me.

Any help will be highly appreciated.
Yes, I’m aware of the value and complexity of the camera, that’s the point of asking for help.
Yes, I have read a previous thread in the forum from 2014 and I can’t locate the screw that op was mentioning when he succeeded on this task.

Thank you in advance,
Alex

The lens retaining ring is inside the large barrel on the rear of the lens and the lens. It may be difficult to access.
The lens mount plate has shims between the plate and focus arms.
There is a parallex arm attached at the top right accessible at closest focus distance.

Thank you for this, a clarification please:
For accessing the retaining ring I should remove the lens mount plate, how to deal with the part going to the light meter?

Thank you, downloaded for future references.
This model of the scheme, doh, has usual retaining ring (not bellows) and it seems the shutter is not screwed to the lens board.
