At f:3.4, this lens should make the portrait and wet plate folks happy.
The price is the same as my 335 & 500mm lenses: $90.00 + shipping.
...and includes the usual five stop cards, a cleaning cloth and mounting screws.
If you've just got to have a shutter, front mounted #6 Packards are available.

I'm partial to f:8, I like the soft glow rather than the sharper edges at f:11 ~ 16.
