No, it doesn't cover 8X10 at infinity nor perhaps even the full plate. But I'll show you a page of images done with a lens that is nearly identical to this one.

When you move in close it begins to cover fine. The images on this page, were all done with an identical petzval, and could be duplicated easily with this one.

I don't have a flange, but I do have a front piece of the old Stereopticon that it came on which has the matching thread. Perhaps it could be cut down to make a flange. I'll include it.

$385 for this. Glass is near to perfect. Nicer than usually found on these.
