I have three 220 reels for sale. At least I think they are 220 reels; I have never used them, as they came with a box of assorted stuff I bought some years ago. The first image shows the reels, and the second shows a 120 reel for comparison, which is not included in the sale.
The price is $20.00, plus shipping for each reel, or all three for $50.00, plus shipping. Payment in US Dollars, via payPal, please.
No they are too wide; the standard SS reels are approximately 3-1/4 inches/82mm in diameter and the ones I have for sale are approximately 4-1/4 inches/108mm in diameter. Both reels are 2-7/16 inches/62mm high.
Sorry; I should have included this info when I posted them for sale.
back when I shot 220 every now and then I had one of these reels. They are considerably easier to load than the 220 reels that fit in a standard tank. The wire and its spacing that make up the spiral are the same as for a "normal" 120 reel, but of course the spiral is longer.
The 220 reel that fits in a standard tank has a spiral sized like a 35mm reel which when combined with the width of 220 film is a bit difficult to load. Not impossible of course, but harder.
I had a set of tubs I used for developing with the oversized reel and did it in open tubs in total darkness.
These oversized 220 reels are made to fit in a larger stainless tank. I think it's the same Nikor tank that holds the Nikor reel for developing 4x5 sheet film. It is about 11 cm diameter x 14 cm high.
