220 film?

I'm looking for places in Vancouver that sell 220 film (notably Kodak Portra 400 in 220 size). I'm having a tough time as every place I've checked so far sells only 120 film.

Short of going to a site like freestyle photo, are there any local places that sell 220 film and have them in stock? Some places I talked to require a minimum amount before they can sell (something like 20 rolls...)

Chances are if Beau or Leo's doesn't have 220 you won't find any locally. There was a guy on Craigslist advertising 220 Fuji of somesort (didn't pay attention as I'm not shooting 220)

Yup, doesn't look like they carry it. 220 seems to be extremely rare to stock, and extremely expensive to ship in too!
I made a work around by converting my 220 inserts to 120, but 220 would be lovely for a high-paced wedding!

I found the price for Canadian 220 (like from, say Vistek) to be alarmingly expensive. For instance, 400VC is 18.99 a roll, so about $95 for a propack. Freestyle in LA has it for $50.99 a propack, and B&H has it for $49.95 for a propack. If you buy a few rolls (I usually get it about 20 rolls at a time) the shipping and HST (which you would have to pay, anyway) as well as the exchange (negligible these days) more than makes up for it. Throw in some sheet film and it's hard to believe the price differential. And this film is fresh, in-stock, USA manufactured stuff - the real deal. I've probably shot 50 rolls of 220 from Freestyle and B&H and I have yet to have a problem. Well, except that the 400NC is being discontinued and I'll have to learn a new film to scan, but such is the way...

If you can deal with out of date stuff there are some fairly decent deals on ebay usa.
I just bout a 20 roll box of 220 Portra 400 NC for 99.00usd + shipping (seller has more too)
There is plenty of Fuji in 220 on there but IDK if you shoot Fuji.

Face it---you're just gonna have to shoot twice as much 120 now-days.
