I thought a tele lens could be useful when photographing the streets of France.
Boy, was I ever wrong.
Photo's of a basket full of baguettes at 200 yards... foooey
Swirling crowds of people in open air markets using an f/8 lens... not my style.

Ok, so my experiment flopped.

My flop is your gain.
Like I said, It's like new.

Don' get me wrong, there's nothing sub-standard about the lens.
As a medium format rangefinder telephoto, it's outstanding.
A nice compliment to the M7's lineup of fine lenses.

It just didn't suit my style of photography.

Well, I just realized that the nice folks in Hong Kong have devalued this lens to less than $1000.

I'll follow suit.

That's a great deal for this lens! This lens is still available new, and it costs $2,057 from B&H, so this is a really great price. I tend to shoot with normal and slightly wide lenses, otherwise I would have been seriously tempted by this.
