This is a very clean 210mm EL-Nikkor A. The original version was called the "N", the "A" is the later version, though neither version actual bore a letter marking as far as I'm aware. According to Nikon's 1992 brochure this lens is for enlarging negatives up to 5x7.
This copy is in very good condition with clean clear glass save for one fine off-center mark on the film-facing (back) element that I've circled in the photo - you may need to blow up the photo to see it. I would happily have used it as-is if I had a big enough enlarger, but if you're really picky you could use a spotting brush to fill in the mark with black model paint. I also noticed one short hair inside the front cell but the lens doesn't appear to have ever been opened. The lens housing in very nice condition with just a few minor scuffs. The aperture ring is marked in 1/3-stop increments from f/5.6 to f/45 and does not seem to have click stops. It comes with two Nikon plastic caps, the mounting flange, and some sort of enlarger mounting plate to which the flange is bolted.
These don't appear you-know-where very often so it's hard to figure out what might be a reasonable price. I'm asking $275 but will listen to offers. I will cover PayPal fees and US shipping costs. Non-US buyers please contact me and we'll figure it out, but keep in mind that insured international shipping is not a bargain, and depending where you live you may end up paying import duties and/or VAT. PayPal is fine, a check drawn on a US bank is finer, and a US Postal Money Order is finest.
