I have come across some cheap oriental seagull for sale but the papper is 20 years old.The guy selling says it has been kept dry & cool but has not tested it (He did not want to open the box).
What are the chances of the paper being OK?
Your thoughts would be much appreciated.
Regards
Stuart.
By the way, how many Seagulls (graded fiber) have there been over the years? I have some that is about 6 years old. I know this is not the legendary Old Seagull of yore that the OP now has (and that I foolishly tossed a box of a few years ago), though I like it a lot, but is there an even newer and presumably even more inferior version now?
If there is #4 or #5 in the lot, these will be the first to degrade. Oriental is pretty stable, as indicated. It you notice anything, it would be fog on the 5 or a softening of the 4 & 5.
