a pair of swing lens panoramic cameras - over 100 years old
the swing lens shutter assemblies both work
they are in fair to good condition - both need work to shoot film
the 4B takes 4" roll film & has the earlier spring set shutter with 3 speeds
the camera has a simple shutter capping device actuated at the end of
the exposure - so you can swing it back to taking position with out exposing film
it has a rotating finder waist level with a ground glass & mirror to assess view
there is a hole in the bellows
the baby al vista takes conventional 120 roll film
it has the gear driven shutter
speeds are changed by fans attached to a rod on top of camera ( there are no fans )
you have to place the lens cap on when winding the shutter ( lens cap present - needs felt liner )
the shutter runs good - someone replaced the leather bellows ( its intact but stiff from age )
I see these as collectables - they do work - but need repairs to photograph with
$175 for both
plus $30 ground advantage shipping
