Both got sold at the auction site. Thanks!
#6 was the Packard Ideal Co.'s designation for shutters that could be instantaneous by inserting a pin, or without the pin could work in B mode or be left open like T mode. In Instant mode they are capable of a repeatable 1/25th or so. With practice it's easy to achieve everything from T to 1/25th incrementally. For instance if you need 1/4 second you listen to a known good source and copy it in the B mode. Or you can simply give it 5 cycles on instant and the combined openings will give you your 1/4 second within tolerances we accept for our mechanical shutters and never question much.
The 5 3/4" has a full 3" opening. $58.50 plus something for the postman. The 3 1/4" has 1 1/2" opening and also features flash sync. $44.50 plus some postage.
