I picked up this Minolta Hi-Matic AF2 film camera at the flea market last week, dimly remembering that it had a very sharp lens on it. An example of funky 1981 technology with infrared autofocus, the camera makes a sound like a dying rodent when you press the shutter release and the primitive autofocus springs into action. But it works and the pictures on the test roll I took are amazingly sharp. The lens on this thing is the real deal. It has a surprisingly powerful flash as well. It's going to be my briefcase/car camera.
