Does anyone remember Kodak’s 1980s Ektachrome 50 Professional film? I’ve just developed a roll, the edge markings say “Kodak EPY 6018” which confusingly is the same code as the later 64T film.

Anyway are the edge markings supposed to be cyan rather than the usual orange? I’m wondering if this was Kodak signalling a Tungsten balance film. Or perhaps it is just very old and colour shifted.

Another film of same era (Ektachrome 64X) developed alongside with it has the usual orange text edge markings.

Thanks

Kodak's transparency film edge markings were mostly orange but some ( not many ) were blue !
To confuse things with your processed example, an old film such as EPY would probably come out light, blue and flat anyway due to its age.

Ah thanks John, yes it is very blue, I'm not sure what age the roll was (it was sent into the lab) but must have been early-mid 80's. There is some hint of yellow and green on some of the shots, so I'm guessing the edge text was indeed intended to be blue/cyan!
