1949-1950 Foca Universel Rangefinder Camera with 50/2.8 Oplar lens.

Camera is working with good sounding shutter speeds although not tested. Viewfinder/Rangefinder window cloudy. Actual Rangefinder spot is accurate, but a tiny bit high on the vertical side. Cosmetics of camera are very good. Curtain looks ok and inside pressure plate shows little use. The lens is a wreck. Lens is mottled, has light haze, cleaning marks, aperture ring works but slips.... focuses accurately, but lens should be considered a bonus. So camera appears to work ok with consistent shutter speeds. Good cosmetics but inside windows/viewfinder needs a cleaning. Grade = 8 Lens works but in poor condition. Grade 6. Comes with original leather case. ok condition. $ 79 plus shipping. A project, display or parts camera.

do you know if it is possible to mount the lens unit from a Foca (two stars) onto this camera? The lens mounts look different, but I only have a two star -- I'm interested because mine lacks a case and take-up spool.

Sorry - dont know enough about the Foca line to answer properly.
