Yes, time will catch up to us all. You can't live a long life without getting old. In this case, I think the camera is being very kind. If they were photographed in more of a documentary style, we might feel their age even more.

Bookmarked. He's a great portrait photographer indeed and the treatment of the Olympian images really works with the subjects. It is interesting to note the inclusion of the rebate, which seems to be something lots of high-profile photographers are doing at the moment, with published images. An important and timely statement for anyone who cares about film.

EDIT: Scrap that, an incredible photographer all round.
