For Sale 1936 Leica IIIA

For sale is a 1936 Leica iiia in good user condition. Shutter in excellent condition and the camera was just returned from Koh's Camera where the shutter mechanism was cleaned and calibrated.

Camera exterior shows considerable wear from normal use but nothing more than cosmetic. No heavy scuffs or dings. (wartime chrome coating is notoriously weak.) Covering is stiff and bubbling slighting on the front but is intact. Rangefinder secondary image is bright and contrasty, viewfinder glass clean.

Has been tested with film and works marvelously.

Comes with a Leitz NY leather case which has missing stitches along the bottom edge where the front flap connects to the bottom piece. The leather strap is weak and should be replaced.

Yup, really not that hard though, if you're bulk loading film you know the drill

Would that be the Spanish Civil War? WWII started in 1939 (or 1941 if you're a Yank)
