No. 4 Bulls-Eye Special Model 98 manufactured by the Eastman Kodak Company. Introduced in May 1898 as a big box camera for 4x5 photos on roll film. The camera has a door on one side through which you can access the roll film holder. The front opens to give you access to the shutter and aperture. Shutter has 3 settings, B, I & T for bulb, instantaneous and time. Shutter and aperture work although shutter is a little slow to react (it is 120+ years old.) Serial # 1407. A little scuffing of the leather on one side and in the front, otherwise in good condition. A nice addition of an early Kodak for your camera collection.
