1855 Daguerreotype Brooch / Pin brass engraved on back "To My Mother W.D.G. 1855". Some scratches to front of glass but otherwise in very nice condition.

1/9th plate Daguerreotype portrait of a gentleman made at James Tyler's Tyler & co. Daguerreotype Depot in Cincinnati, Ohio which was in business in 1857. Advertising for Tyler & Co. is pasted on the back of the daguerreotype.

Both are up for auction on Ebay.
