It will be more than fine, unless it has been stored in a very hot atmosphere continuously. Shoot away. Always do a test picture (or two) first, of course.
As a life long cheapskate I have often bought out-of-date film on clearouts. I just started to use a 100ft roll of EFKE400 from freestyle that was out dated 6 months ago. As long as the film has been stored in an air conditioned area, you can generally get a couple of years past the expiration date. I like to regigerate stock when I get it and meter it out of the fridge a few days before I need it. (that is harder fro sheet film as you have to let the package warm up before you can open it)
I had some 35mm Delta 100 that expired in 2004. It was in the fridge and freezer over the course of it's life. I used it a couple of months ago and it was fine.
