Just checked the date on my delta 100 8x10 film. What can I expect if I use it?

If it's been stored well, it will be fine.

The great thing is that it's sheet film - you can try one sheet and see how it works.

It will be more than fine, unless it has been stored in a very hot atmosphere continuously. Shoot away. Always do a test picture (or two) first, of course.

As a life long cheapskate I have often bought out-of-date film on clearouts. I just started to use a 100ft roll of EFKE400 from freestyle that was out dated 6 months ago. As long as the film has been stored in an air conditioned area, you can generally get a couple of years past the expiration date. I like to regigerate stock when I get it and meter it out of the fridge a few days before I need it. (that is harder fro sheet film as you have to let the package warm up before you can open it)
