This is not a perfect lens. It only makes perfect images. Perfectionists......go buy the "mint" one on Ebay for $1800.

The rest of you that want to make gorgeous images, this is a grand old lens. I've done some of my best images ever with it. It has some seperation at the back........and.......watch my lips,

IT DOESN'T MATTER!

If you're the type that can't deal with a 90 + year old lens showing a bit of age, please move on! This isn't your lens. If however you'd like to make images like the ones I'll show on the next post below, this is a great lens at a great price.

Shutter actuator is missing. Aperture works perfectly. Open ~ Closed lever is present and works as it should.

In post #2, the third photograph must have been taken with the lens on upsidedown.

I like the lens, but I suspect that it will be too large for my 4x5s. Also, they are a bit out of my price range for now.

This is one of the rare ones that can make both upside down and right side up pictures. :whistling:

How does it do when you reverse mount it? Light will go both ways, right?

Well, I used to reverse mount Minolta lenses and use them for closeup work, and I always thought that they were asexual. Was I doing something wrong??

Admit it, Jim. You spend so much time under the dark cloth that it looked normal to you.

(ah, now I see. It's a self-portrait)
