I have seen it even for less. The 150, 250 and 50mm are not that expensive anymore, even FE. Only lens that still demands a premium is the 110/2.

Okay I think I mixed that up. F was what I´ve meant. The 150 FE seems very rare as opposed to the F version. I have seen some cheap 50 FE and 250 FE though from time to time!

About the F version - I guess one could use the DOF preview button for both focusing and metering, at least at the wider apertures. Not really the same as with an FE both perhaps a workaround?

It's actually not bad using an F or CF lens on the 203fe, the metering system reports over/under exposure to 5 stops, so if the meter says +3 stops on your f/2.8 lens, you just set it to f/8 (3 stops down). Conversly, you could set the AE to over expose by 3 stops, and set the lens to f/8, and meter and shoot wide open. I use the latter a lot - not as nice as an FE lens, but a lot nicer than stop-down mettering. In both cases you can shoot and meter wide open.

Ah, thank you. I wasn't aware I could set AE to a different exposure like that. I keep being amazed by this camera.

I have my eyes on an FE for about 500€ though - we'll see if I manage to buy that one. Otherwise I'll consider an F.
