WTB: 127 x 101mm Fresnel lens
I've been restoring a prewar (cherry wood) 4x5 Ansco Agfa Universal View camera (same body as the 5x7). Lots of gold (brass?) gilt and brass knobs instead of plastic. I've replaced the bellows. and a fresnel will take it to better than original, at least for focusing.
It has an unusual self cocking "Perle" shutter that I've never seen before. I SUSPECT that the shutter was made by Welta since it is German and Welta used the "Perle" name on a lot of its cameras....(?) I Can't find any information about the shutter. The camera has a 165mm Skopar lens. The lens dates to about 1935. And I can't find much information on the camera, for that matter. I'd like to be able to find the manufacturing date.

thanks!
