127 negative carrier

I located two places that sell 3D printed carriers. One of these places, on eBay, even make a 110 carrier. I do not see a 127 version on any of the two sites and I couldn't find any contact links to email the maker from the first site.

Would anyone have an idea on which sized negative carrier would closely work with an image dimension of 1 5/8 X 2 1/2? I am guessing maybe 6X7? My 6X6 carrier cuts a little off of each side and there is space on top and bottom. For now I can use my 6X6 carrier.

I had to modify and join two 8X10 print sleeves to protect a 127 roll that I recently developed. Negative was cut into two strips of four frames. I couldn't find 127 film sleeves.

Yes they go in but the way I have them cut the strips slightly poke out the other end. I have them cut in 2 strips of four frames.

Those dimensions are a lot closer to 1 5/8 x 2 1/4 - 4.5 x 6.
A 645 carrier, in other words.

Those are the sleeves I have. A fractional part of the fourth frame sticks out from the entry part of the sleeve. The page just needs to be a tad bit taller. If I had cut the strips into three frames things would have been fine but I wanted to be even with things. Found out after the fact.

The strips were put into an 8X10 sleeve and I used another 8X10 sleeve to hold in the other sleeve. Say that ten times fast. I cut off the punch hole part that was on the side of one of the sleeves to fit it into the other sleeve. Repeat after me.

Thanks for posting the other sleeve type. That will be doable. I will order up some of those.

You could always cut single negatives off each four negative strip - the 4th and 5th negative - and then end up with two strips of three in the end channels, with the middle channel holding the singles.

you can also tack printfile sleeves however you like with the blunt side of a heated knife or a soldering iron on low power, making whatever shape strips you want. I've made a bunch for 9mm wide minox film this way.

As far as 127 negative carriers for enlargers, I'd suggest going to the eBay seller and using the "ask seller a question" function. They'd probably be happy to quote you for a 127 size; they just need to know the actual film is 46 mm wide, and the frame size you want (allow for a live edge if desired). I'd recommend starting with a full frame (4x6.5 cm nominal), which you can easily mask for the two smaller frame sizes.
