Yep, looking for metal 127 reels for developing B&W in Nikkor metal tanks. 1 or 2 would be fine.

Thanks- Dan

HI Dan,

I love my Stainless Steel Nikkor reels and tanks, but finding a 127 reel may be difficult. The standard plastic Paterson reel can do 35mm, 126, 127, and 120 right out of the box (and I have modified one of mine too. handle 110/16mm). You can get the whole kit: tank, two reels, swizzle stick, etc. for $33 from B&H.

Cheers,

Paul

I'm sure I can help you with that-just have to find them. I am in the process of moving into a condominium so the darkroom is a casualty.
I have to get around to listing some film and rare papers.
I'll develop film and scan- Mark
I'll mail them up to you
I have found that 127 can be loaded on a stainless steel reel with difficulty. Plastic reels all but impossible as the lead is not anchored. The curl is truly hard to deal with

I've found the metal 127 reels on eBay pretty readily in the past couple of years. I think you just have to check every few days for a week or two and usually one will pop up.

I found loading 127 film onto the plastic reel for Paterson Super System 4 is super easy. As easy as 135 film and easier than 120 film. I wonder which plastic reels did you encounter problems?
Problem for me was with some very old Efke film, candy wrapped variety. I will have to try some of my Verichrome at some point. They were recent Patterson reels but it all depends on how much curl you have to fight
