not sure if anyone here knows about surefire.
they sell 123A lithium batteries ... you know the batteries
that power flashes, p/s cameras and motion + smoke detectors ( and other stuffs).
they come in packages of 12 or 72 and have a 10year shelf life
and ... are $1.75 each
they have a dealer locater if you want to try to buy them locally.
i have a shop close to me that, but it only has onseys + twoseys,
not the 12 or 72 box, so i opted to get them online (again).

i like buying from these guys ( this is the 3rd or 4th time for me )
... it beats paying close to 13$ for a 2pack at my local pharmacy /photo store!

have fun!

John, I've been using them as a source for these batteris too. If you buy directly from Surefire website and spend over $100, you can get free shipping aswell! The flashlights they don't suck either!

So these are good batteries then? B&H sells them for a good price. The name sounded kind of hokey -- I looked right past them first time around...

Thanks this post John. Surefire sells these thru Amazon too and me being a Prime member I get 2-day shipping included. What has me hesitating is some recent reports in the reviews of people getting the batteries loose in baggies not in the box as shown, some batteries dead or having very short lives:
Surefire SF12-BB Box of 12 123A 3 Volt Lithium Batteries SF123A https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000UX93OQ/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_aV35tb06WCKJJ

I bought CR123a batteries through Home Depot free store pickup. Streamlight brand Made In USA even. Great price box of 12, I think and using in my N80 haven't even changed them out. Highly rated!

No affiliation, but batteryjunction sells Rayovac (USA made) CR123s for cheap, as well - they also have good prices on CR2s, 2CR5s, etc

Here in Europe, there is a seller on eBay, GWS Powercell, that just sent me 10 Energizer CR123 batteries for 24 Euros, free shipping. The "use by date" is 2023! I can guarantee, they'll be used up long before then!

Yeah, Lithium batteries have a 10-20 year storage life
