This lens has sat unused in my dehumidified safe for ages, it's ready for a new home.
The lenses in the Apo Rodagon D line (two different 75s and the 120) deliver optimal performance in duplicating, enlarging, and CCD imaging over a limited reproduction ratio. They're one of the best options available for making internegatives. Rodenstock says the 120mm covers 4x5 with a recommended reproduction range of 0.5x to 3x and optimal performance at 2x. This is your lens if you want to print the sharpest possible 8x10 image from your 4x5 negative, but you'd better have your enlarger well aligned and be using a glass negative carrier.
This copy, s/n 11904036, is in like-new condition with no flaws that I can see. It's in its original bubble case with front lens cap and retaining ring. It has a standard 39mm enlarging lens mount and accepts 40.5mm filters.
These lenses rarely appear on eBay, it's been ages since I've seen one. You can still special-order one new from B+H for $1328. My asking price is $530, a price that includes insured US shipping and PayPal fees. For non-US buyers I ask $510 plus actual insured shipping. Please don't ask me to undervalue this for customs purposes as that limits my ability to insure it (and is illegal). I will only ship to PayPal verified addresses.
