1200 mm f18 Nikkor T-ED Lens. Like new
A Telephoto Lens for 8x20 !
This is officially an 8x10 lens, having a published image circle of 310 mm.
Back in 2006, a thread on the Large Format Photography Forum noted that this lens will actually cover 8x20 !!!
Here's the scoop:

So I bought one.
Yep, it covers 8x20 at infinity..
At f32 the corners are about 1-stop darker, easy enough to burn in at printing.
Since I contact print 8x20's, image quality outside of the 310 mm circle was perfectly acceptable.
If you've got a 7x17, this would make a fabulous telephoto lens.
Obviously, if you've got an 8x10, look no further for a top-notch telephoto.
A lensboard extension tube was available, but I didn't need it.
(But even if I did, I probably would have made it. It's nice to be handy at making things)
This is a triple convertible lens, the front element and Copal #3 shutter are designed to work in conjunction with a rear optic of varying focal lengths. This lens has the 1200 mm rear optic. It could be replaced with an 800 mm optic (at an aperture of f12), or a rear optic for a 600 mm f9 tele lens.
Here's a nice summary of the system:

Too bad I'm running out of steam, at 76 I need to downsize my cameras and formats.
$1600 and it's yours, filter holder included.
If you want the Omega/Cambo lensboard, add $20.
The yellow filter is not included.
I'm not set-up for PayPal, but Visa/MC is ok.
