120 film Problem! Rewind

Hey folks,
i just recently bought a Seagull 6x6 Camera and i didnt noticed that the shutter didnt work! so i Shot 2 rolls of ilfod pan f plus and they never toucht any light. They are already on the second Roll. I dont wanna waist my favourite BW film. Any Tipps for using this film again.

You'll need to respoool it. Do a search on youtube and you'll find many demonstrations.

The one thing that needs to be attended to is that the film is NOT taped on at the end of the roll. So after a bit of winding the film onto a new spool you'll have the film itself flopping loose. I would tape this down, but maybe simply paying attention and making certain that it it wrapped properly will work?

Of course all of this needs to happen in a light-tight place. Changing bag, darkroom, closet with blanket over door?

I agree tape the spool. However the spool typically has a moisture tape attached to it that one would use to adhere the end of the spool onto it's self when winding. I found that this moisture tape doesn't always hold so I carry around a small roll of green frog tape or the blue version. For an artist effect you could carry around clear scotch tape as these tend to add some artsy details to your images.

weird, the start time wasn't part of the link. About 3 minutes is where he starts the actual respooloing and will soon show the film end and retaping issue.

Unroll the film. Rip the film off the existing tape and move the other end of the film about an inch lower than where it was. Reroll the film from the proper end - it will roll tightly because the film is not taped. When you get to the start (where the taped end is), take note of how far away it is (X inches) from the original position (the tape is still there) and use a new piece of tape to secure it. When you load the film, advance X inches past the start arrow to the new start point (X will probably be 1/2 inch).

RESPOOL IN THE DARK!
If you do not have a darkroom, get a changing bag and respool in the changing bag.
