I recently had two rolls of B&W 120 overlap during development, and I would like to know what I can do to save the images that did develop. The roll that had it's base side stuck developed fine, but there are large blue splotches where the two films came in contact. Should I just respool when the film is dry and wash, or should I do a HCA cycle, then wash, or is there something else?

Second question: The roll that had it's emulsion side stuck has about half the images developed, and some of the images are in areas between undeveloped spots. For storage, I would rather just cut as I would normally in order to fit this roll into a printfile (I want to avoid 6 individual frames that are difficult to retrieve from sleeves). What, if anything, should I do to the roll prior to storage? Is there any problem storing undeveloped film in the same sleeve as developed? Should I fix again? Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Thanks for reading,

Bill

Un-stick and re-fix and wash...

The other film is developed...the silver was not developed then washed away by the fixer.
Do not re-develope the film...
Just re-fix and wash and see what you have.
It's happened to me a few times in the past 2.5 decades.... usually post developer, and most always when I double loaded film on the reel.
I loaded the film back to back... believe it or not I used to do 8 rolls of film in a 4 roll stainless steel tank on stainless reels E-6!!! Why? My boss told me too.... color film never seemed to stick like B+W does doing the same.

Thanks, I learned something today. Now I have to figure out where to store this data in my brain!
