120 film in instant camera

I am thinking about trying 120 film in an instant camera. Any advice? I have a instax mini, an instax wide, and an sx70. Which of these cameras do you think would be best for this? I was planning on cutting the film and putting it in the camera.

Wouldn't it be far easier just to buy a cheap 120 camera?....guess theres no fun in that.
Im in the midst of converting a land camera to 612 roll film, but this will require a lot of butchering.

With SX-70 you have reflex viewing, can do manual focus, and have primitive control over exposure. However, you will need an empty film pack to ensure the film sheet is in the proper plane and to provide power (the battery is in the pack). Also, you want to ensure it doesn't get ejected!

You may need a "fake" sheet so that the camera doesn't think the film count is at zero. Then put real film on top of that. Maybe trim back edge of film back a bit so the ejection arm doesn't push the film into the rollers after the photo.

You could use sheet film, pre-focus on a still life assembled in one's darkroom. Then put on a flash bar, turn out the lights, take the photo and eject the film into a tray of D-76

You could try a peel apart pack film camera and sheet film. You would just need an empty pack or two and load/unload in total darkness. I have some expired 5x7 I may trim and try out in my 180 or 195 when the packs are empty. I still have about 40 packs of fuji peel apart (B&W and color) but they will be gone someday so maybe having a plan for the cameras wouldn't be a bad idea.

Most instant cameras have an automated film ejection. To circumvent this issue one would have to manipulate the mechanics, the electronics or to cut the film sheet small enough no be transported out.
