Aerochrome III is great film but has some extremes in contrast. I shot it at 320 ASA metered through an orange or yellow filter. Over exposure doesn't give much but sometimes a 1/3rd under really saturates the color well. To reduce the overall contrast you could shoot it at 400 and have it push processed.
For the effort involved, $25 a roll is a pretty good price. Does he have a minimum?
I have kind of left the IR shooting behind, but it really does have some nice capabilities and I like anything that can help me with new outlets for creativity. I still have a few rolls of it.
