A black strike though may be tough to see over the black containers though. I think the X's are pretty clear. I also remove that item from the written list.

The X's are part of the picture, they aren't overlayed on top of it or anything. For them to have been removed would be very odd.

The pictures are so small on the screen that it is difficult to notice the X's until your attention is drawn to them - I certainly didn't notice them at all until your most recent post. I certainly can't tell which item is which in the "group" photo - both before and after the addition of the X's. And I can't really tell which items have sold, unless I put the two lists you have side by side.
Experience tells us that many people refer back to the first post when they look at inventories like this.
I was suggesting that you strike out the text, not the pictures, because when pictures are small, they refer to written lists instead.
This is how things appear on a 15" laptop screen.

I think I see what has happened here now.
You updated the inventory without mentioning it in the thread, so anyone new to the thread would be unlikely to be aware of the update.
And then you decided to point out that the relatively tiny group photo was no longer accurate, so you added even tinier red x's to it.
And then you added the above post, to make it clear that the photo was no longer accurate, but didn't make it clear that the post only referred to the photo, while the inventory list provided in text already reflected an update. Those of us who weren't aware of that update are likely to do what I did - look for X's on the list, not on the photo.

Given what we on the moderation team know about how people access forums like this, our advice is that its generally best to make updates that visibly show the progression instead.
Something like:
