A rare and vintage Deardorff 11x14 view camera on a Deardorff twin column stand. The camera comes with two lenses, each in their own Packard air shutter; a 600 mm F8.0 Rodenstock Klimsch Aporonar and a 690 mm F8.0 Zeiss Protar lens. The standard 11x14 back and a 8x10 reducing back, complete with ground glass, are included.
The stand was rebuilt by Jack Deardorff, the founders grandson, about 4 years ago. I had it reduced in overall height from 12 feet to 6 feet. Jack rebuilt the gears and camera table and replaced the wheels with new ones, as well as all the cables that hold the counter weights.
The camera comes with 6 good 11x14 holders, 6 usable 11x14 holders (functional, but not pretty) and 2 holders that can be used for parts. Reducing backs include a 5x7, an 8x10, a 11x14 standard and an 810 revolving back, all without ground glass, are included. The camera is in completely working condition. While there are a few scratches on the camera body, the bellows are absolutely light tight. The Packard shutters have been retrofitted to synch with strobe equipment via household connectors. There are additional bellows and intermediate stands available for close-up photography.
We are downsizing and no longer have room for this wonderful piece of equipment.
The price is $3.000,00 f.o.b. Chicago, IL
