Hello Everyone,

I'm looking to buy a roll or two (if the price is right) of black and white bulk film. I accept any brand and expired film is perfectly ok with me, just as long as I know a rough estimate of how long it's been expired so I can develop accordingly.

Thank you

Edit #1: Just wanted to clarify that ideally I would not like to spend more than $100+plus shipping for the film if possible.

If you are willing to wait, I plan on splitting up a roll of Tri-X in the near future. Cost will be around $120, plus shipping.

What exactly do you mean by splitting the roll?

Making two 30,5m rolls of 17,5mm film.
Or two 17m rolls of 35mm

I guess the second option. Buy 30,5m of 400TX, make like 10 rolls for own use and then sell the rest.

I don't know what HP5+ costs in dollars at them moment, but I paid less then €120 for a full fresh 30,5m roll like 2 months ago.

I would buy a 400 ft roll of XX film from Kodak, then split it into 4 100 foot rolls.
Noticed I made a typo in the original reply, should be XX (the Cinema film), not Tri-X (the stills film).

I have a 100ft tin of Trix that expired in the ā€˜80 I believe that I’d sell. PM me with an offer.

I've never shot XX film before would be nice but I think the $120 price tag may be a bit out of my budget. More importantly I may need to reflect that in my original post

The Ultrafine website quotes $61.95 + $9.95 shipping, total $71.90 for 100' Ultrafine 400.
