Fifteen sheets, you mean!

As much as I like the 809, I concluded that I would need many more shots to become familiar enough with it to make anything worth selling, so... off to the auction site my fresh box went... and was snapped up at $720 in 30 minutes. That had me peering into my fridge at all those cherished boxes of 55 and 665... No! I shall remain strong!

Mind you, someone who knows what they're doing with the stuff can still see merit in $50 per shot.

At that price, you can use 8x10" slide film to proof for Polaroid.

It probably had a BIN of $1000. Clearly that did not impress the first couple of bidders...

Bob.

It's up to $1,025 now. There's one born every minute, ain't there?

That's what I was going to post - $1025 for a box of Hemmorhoid film. It's not worth that - must be a collector. I saw a processor with two holders somewhere for <$100 that supposedly worked.

I have one of the 8X10 to 4X5 reducers and since it's all in registration (Sinar), use it that way to check the shot, if need be. Most of the time, I forget the film and back and am stuck with John Wayne-ing the shot.

Besides that, the FP100c Fuji is better than the 'rhoid film ever was (IMHO).

Love to be the seller, hate to be the buyer...

IF the buyer has $1000 to spend on a few sheets of film, he has a very nice bank account.

Anything to do with large format photography is a black hole for one's cash anyway - ...
