I've started reading it yesterday, and its a true gem. Sally is remarkable as both a photographer and a writer. Do not miss this one.

Interesting read.

One wonders if the photographers for Sears and Roebucks catalog had such angst about their ladies underwear section or if National Geographic "primitive" Africa photographers did as well.

Her work would have been readily accepted in most countries in the world but in the sexually repressed and sexually confused United States it is an issue.

Where people can lose their kids for bathtub pictures.

I have known Sally for more than forty years. I could not tear myself away from the pages of "Hold Still" after it was delivered today. Sally is a gifted photographer - working from her heart, and is just as talented as a writer. I am looking forward to exploring additional chapters in her new book tomorrow!
