Im more interested in 8x10 stock, but it seems it's out everywhere i look. No one has stock of it. I know Kodak recently announced sheet film again direct, but 8x10 in this seems to be absent. Any news on this?

I noticed that too! I hope they produce some in 8x10.

Wouldn’t be surprised if it appears soon. Compared to the Portra/Ektacolor and B&W sheet film, E100 likely sells fewer units. That would likely make it the lowest priority.

Anyway, hoping to see it soon in 4x5 or 8x10, whichever I can get hold of. I recently picked up a 77mm Tiffen 812 warming filter that can be used for all but one of my LF lenses. I had Ektachrome in mind when I bought it.

Keep your fingers crossed. It seems like Kodak is finally righting the ship where film is concerned. For the first time in years I have more yellow film boxes than white.

They may not make it often. It is on a different substrate than the roll films so it wouldn't necessarily be coated at the same time.

How do they manage sheet film? I can't figure how it is possible on the big machines to manage something like Ektachrome. The market is so small, I'm guessing?? I suppose same is true for Ektacolor? I hope it's around for a long time!

Only 4x5 and 8x10 have catalogue SKU numbers. Those sizes can be ordered through retailers.
K.B. Canham Cameras, Inc. are the authorized EK agents who have the ability to organize orders for other sizes. They assist groups of photographers who want other sizes, help them pool their orders, and when a sufficient (very large) number of orders for a particular size are confirmed and paid for, a production run of that custom size is scheduled - most likely at the same time that 4x5 and 8x10 is also being produced.
All of this was distributed through Kodak Alaris, and may still be, despite the recent apparent disruption.
It is important to remember that Kodak Alaris has a worldwide distribution system. Eastman Kodak doesn't.

I think it’s worth noting that Ektachrome was very much absent from the recent announcement of Eastman-distributed sheet films.

I assume it is coming at some point, but as of right now it’s not part of the Eastman lineup. My guess is that they’re waiting to announce it until they actually have some to sell, ie. next time they do a coating run.
