This isn't my original idea. Earlier this year, some local community suggested using Aerocolor IV 2460 with an (ЖЗ-1.4x or ЖЗС-5 or YG-1.4x, USSR)(LB9, chinese)(VB10, Schott) yellow-green filter at ISO 80 and processed in E-6 as a cheap slide alternative. Costing of a fliter and a roll of 2460 roughly the same as one roll of Kodak 5294, it’s an appealing concept. To find out the extent of the color distortion, I shot two test rolls in Japan trip.

At first glance, the results seem okay to me, but I'm wondering if it's losing some of the red tones in the shadows. I've attached some scanned slides. Could anyone help me see if my observation is correct?
