I don't know what the Linhof filter holder looks like, but a thing you can use for lenses without a filter thread like those older Ilex-Calumets, is a spring tension clamp gel filter holder with a 2-barndoor hood. The one I know is called a "Voss gel filter holder" like this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/235439128743

It holds 3x3" gels, but you may be able to slide a Cokin filter or similar into it. I have one of these. It doesn't fit this thread because it is cheap and occasionally useful - most usable solution for odd-size clamp-on hood that I know of. Pic from the ebay auction for posterity:

Interesting. I have heard of 2 square holders of this basic type now. I think the other one (Cokin maybe) uses rubber bands.

Why did you want an 'adapter'? Both the camera & it's motor drive have standard (1/4-20) tripod threads.

To clip it to one's belt (and yes, this is a real Pentax accessory):

I have one of these and carry it as a backup in my 35mm bag, though I can’t remember using it.

It is in it’s original box but off hand I don’t recall its name.

It took me a while to recall, a somewhat similar thing is the Lee "Gel Snap" 4x4 filter holder, which uses a rubber band. The Lee holder is larger, but I think it can really only use gels, and it doesn't have the barn-door shades.

Yes, the Lee Gel Snap filter holder I find very handy. The gel sets are a bit expensive and easily damaged, but if I have it in my bag I know it will fit any lens I own.

Fudge. I was wondering if the gel-snap could hold my resin and glass 100mm filters. I may experiment with it since it would be a heck of a lot cheaper than a custom SK Grimes adapter. If it fails, I'll maybe spend the big bucks.

A polarizing filter which imparts any hue!

The best and only reason in the world to pay big dollars for a very good filter, even if you need to use step-down rings to cover smaller sizes.
