Not a problem at all! Take a photo with digital camera & measure with lightmeter/ The key is to use the same angle, adjust zoom lens to light meter view field.
If the photo is correct -compare the shot info with lightmeter result & calculate correction if necessary.

Not everyone is interested in lugging around a digital camera and zoom lens, which can't home in like a true spot meter anyway. Sounds like five times more work to get from Point A to Point B anyway. With most digital cameras, you need to read through an Owner's Manual as thick as a phone book just to figure out how to turn off all the buttons and switches inside other program switches just to obtain a simple objective. Besides, digital cameras don't come with dark cloths, so what use are they?
