This listing is for a Leica M-A camera body in black chrome, near mint, basically new, condition. Serial number is 5899XXX, making it a recent production model, probably within the last 2 years.

I cannot find a mark on it (see the detailed pictures). Viewfinder is crystal clear, perfect, zero dust. Camera functions perfectly. I would definitely say the camera lives up to its hype, it's a treat just to hold in your hands. Sale includes just what is pictured: body and caps, no box.

The new price of a black M-A has now jumped to $7000 (plus tax) and (as of this writing) I can’t find any US retailers have it in stock, not even Leica USA.

Price includes UPS ground shipping to CONUS. Please add 3% for PP G&S payment.

What a beauty! I prefer this model's solid wind lever, like the one on a M3. And I like the vertical rewind knob. Maybe I should paint two red dots on my rewind knob?

There's at least a couple of Leica Stores in the US with silver and black chrome M-As in stock but the current $7000 retail price is - how do I put this nicely - insane The price of the camera has nearly doubled since I bought mine in 2017.

The camera for sale here looks to be a beautiful example and a relative bargain compared to new pricing. Good luck with the sale!
