Who has recent positive experience with a repair person at a reasonably fair price and good results?

I'd sure like to hear back from Ikonta shooters, who have a "go to guy" making 120 B images pop once more out of these wonderful tools.

Keep warm and, Godspeed, in this new year!

What seems to be the problem with it?

Rangefinder needs adjustment and camera wants a CAL.

Shutter speed seems fine, counter works as it should, so a general going over seems to be in order, otherwise it appears mint.

Most any good repair person should be able to help you out there. Where you run into problems is if the gear timing for the film advance has been tampered with or the front lens elements have been removed for cleaning and not reassembled correctly.

This is my first and only Super Ikonta, folder of any kind, but it looked to be in great shape when I received it.

I'm hoping it’s been treated well, I’d like it for a medium format pocket camera, it’s a joy to handle.

I heard from Alex Vargas and he recommends a U.S. repair person, so I believe I’ll try that.

My camera budget is just about shot (no pun) for the rest of the year and I can do without the Ikonta but if I can get a good repair, I’ll be happy to have it done.

They are great cameras and have a very good reputation image wise and build wise. Especially the later models. I love mine, but there are certainly lighter folding cameras to carry around. I wouldn't think it to cost very much to adjust the rangefinder on yours. I just wonder why it needs adjusting in the first place.
