My bed rail had permanent indentations where 1000s of others used the death grip before me over the years. Fortunately the grip, by sheer chance, was tailored exactly to my hand measurements so there was no hand discomfort or any danger of callouses forming by anxious rubbing on my part. So I can still safely squeeze excess liquid off a film with my fingers without the danger of scratching it

At my post operative examination I mentioned this to the consultant and he said that it was of no value to him working for the U.K, National Health Service where the op is free but he would mention it to his U.S colleagues in case they wish to incorporate it as a extra charge for analogue photographersšŸ˜Ž

Thanks My post was largely a seemingly-failed attempt at "Pythonesque" humour woven into a reference I had made on a post about using the fingers(non-calloused) for squeezing drops off a film😁
