I just developed a full tank with empty film. I grabbed the wrong group of 4x5 holders - ones with unexposed film in them - in the dark and didn't realize until after the fact. Need to refine my process and clean up my darkroom, perhaps not in that order.

I ordered wrong size lens caps. I bet I'll have 5 of the darn things before I get what I'm after. Amazing how you can use calipers to determine what you actually need 😅

Yesterday, I pulled the wrong dark slide on my 8x10 camera. 🙄

It was an opportunity to show the model what 8x10 film looks like. 😉

A few:

Accidentally put this in the blix first. Big fucking sigh… RIP 3 sheets of 1443.

Forgot to put the big roll back in the box. Oops.

This was NOT ortho film. Thankfully it was on a daylight spool, only first couple feet were affected.

Happened to me twice last week!

If I can add missed opportunity to screw ups, may I add.
Not quick enough off the mark!
3 boxes x 100 pcs of Agfa Portriga deep freeze stored for free; too late!
Beseler 4x5 enlarger with Ilford MG 500 head plus a full darkroom of equipment and a Durst M800 thrown in for good measure for $75 !
Pentax 6 x 7 with a 105mm and a 50mm lens for $500.
Hasselblad 500 with 80mm and 50mm for $750.
Missing out on paper is my biggest disappointment; consumables are becoming expensive.

Today. I was shooting both 8x10, Shanghai 100 and Fortepan 400. Both films needed reciprocity effect correction, the latter not needing as much (Shanghai has probably the WORST reciprocity effect EVER!). After exposing the Shanghai, I switched to the Forte, and like the real veteran that I am, used Shanghai's compensation by mistake... So, I'll probably end up with extremely well exposed negatives...The Shanghai came out great. I'll leave the Forte until tomorrow.

This morning I discovered the Jobo tank that went missing more than a year ago. What struck me was that the rubber lid was on - something I never do when it's empty. And yes, I checked in the dark - it's loaded with two films… I don't even know what films are inside

First time for me, I opened the tank's main lid instead of the small one, so the film at the top is kinda fogged...

Amazingly enough, there are still visible images there.
