Lots of amazing images from you fine folks to go through. I have been away for a bit. I collided head on with a deer at 60mph on my motorcycle. Killed the deer, I am alive and recuperating from road rash, cracked ribs and a mild concussion. That happened 1 month ago. Anyways, in the meantime, I managed to shoot a wedding professionally and actually get away for some photos of the fall colors last weekend and hopefully catch the tail end of it this weekend. Prior to that, I was installing win11 on 2 computers as win10 is obsolete and found out that my LR6 will not work on win11 so I had to succumb to the dreaded subscription LR. Amazingly, my PS6 suite still works. Anyways, all this to say I have missed this thread and have lots of images to go through, even more to develop and scan in the coming months and hope to share plenty of recent stuff. Below is one from the summer right near my office. Greens View, Sewanee, TN. Captured late one afternoon with a Sony a6000 and kit lens as the pop up showers danced in the valley.

Ouch! I’m glad you are okay Jon. Deer collisions are nothing to sneeze at. The lighting on that picture gives it some luminous depth. Good shot!

Jon, glad you are recovering alright from such as serious accident. Killer image of clouds to include with the announcement. I love the layers of light and color.

I have a few from this roll, not sure which one is my favorite

Zeiss Nettar 515/2 Portra 400NC

Taken at the NY Power Authority Vista in Niagara Falls USA. But you can see Canada too.

I'm not sure what caused the streaking because none of the other rolls had it. I'm going to blame the camera. The camera is one of my oldest functioning cameras so I'll give it a pass.

First image processed from last Sunday. I rediscovered this overlook and have shot some film here in the past year (still working on developing) but kept in my mind this would be a great place to capture a fall sunset. Most of the overlooks that I frequent face the northern sky which doesn't suit a good sunset. This one goes south. Anyways, the weather was really nasty and I was hoping for a lot of drama. However, most of the clouds cleared up as I neared this location. Still quite pleased as the leaves were shimmering a bright golden and colors were near peak. Today would be perfect except it is very windy and overcast. I am sure most of the leaves will be blown off after today. I will process more of these and will probably do a couple of videos on this location as I captured some time lapse and my hike out each of the past 2-3 trips.

Near Foster Falls along the Fiery Gizzard Trail. Canon eos-r, 24-105L

This is a fairly popular location for local portrait photographers, for good reason. Chamonix 45F-1 | Grandagon 75mm | Ilford FP4+

(This is a scan of a workbook print that has not been fully refined. There may be more detail in those clouds, I'm not sure.)
