In your scenario, if you can make the body (by grinding its interface) and back fit together, you can then just use the flash sync cable. I have my Hartblei (Kiev 88CM)'s shutter removed. I plan to build a "3D printed large format shutter" and put it in front of the lens (check YouTube). Then use Arduino Nano (ESP32 S3) to control the shutter release. The speed will be under 1/15, but it will be more reliable and user replaceable.
