    Some Crown Graphic speculation, please!

I agree. the only think Graflex thats collectable are the original round red switch 3 cell battery holders for the flash, Due to the Star wars fan boys making lightsabers out of them. the newer square button ones are much cheaper.

    Fine-grain salt

Pink salt is Pink because of mineral impurities. You can take that with a grain of sea salt.

    I need a new rangefinder.

I am liking my Canonet QL17 the more I use it. I think its actually improving my overall ability to take a decent shot.

What camera to take for going on a walk?

It was a beautiful day here and I took my Rolleiflex ms-evs to get some sun. Really bright day sunglasses, lens hood and orange filter were required.

    Cleaning Masking tape residue

Goo gone and plastic razor blades for the nastiest of masking tape. If used on leather or paint it may take it off. If you use Goo Gone have some water around to neutralize.

    Buying Equipment from KEH

No problem with the things I have ordered. I have had shipping as seen above. To be fair they are like amazon and use a container that is too large.

What Are Your Favorite 35mm Manual Focus Fixed-Lens Rangefinders? (Looking For Recommendations)

I got my first rangefinder, a Canonet QL17 GIII, a couple of months ago and have put 2 rolls through it. The first roll you could tell a lot of mistakes, exposure and focusing issues. they did improve by the end of the first roll. By the end of the 2nd roll was starting to get some very nice...

Using a macro lens for general photography. Thoughts?

Thought it would be the wrong focal length, as it wasn't the lens I wanted to shoot with that day. But it worked out.

Using a macro lens for general photography. Thoughts?

Last year I was going to see my kids basketball, I forgot to change lenses and was stuck with a Nikon 105 mm micro/macro lens. Worked surprising well, even for sports.

Colored filters in black and white street photography

Part of the appeal of street photography, at least for me, is the, raw, minimally edited/produced image.
