Just a quick 2024 update………Sover still going strong……I just sent my F2 up to him for servicing……new price list but still great value in my opinion to get a classic serviced.

Can’t see it on the negs……I think I’ve got one solution (see below )….. thanks for the response……a camera defect would be my worst possible outcome as I love that Nikon so much!

I think you may be right. The negs look clean but I’ve been looking at my lomography film holder/ light box and the film holder has deep angled (and shiny plastic!) sides……..I think this may be causing the bi-symmetrical reflections that appear on the scan……. I’m going to tape the corners and...

Just got some negs back from my C-41 place. First shots in color from a "new" ebay Nikon F5 (the b&w negs are fine)......... have really strage symetrical orange casts at the corners as per these examples. Any ideas?????? Its really annoying.......and I so hope its nothing to do with the...

So far so good, had -9 in Nancy France and -3 to 4 in Kitzbuhel…..the F1s shutter sounds sweet….

So far so good. Some shots taken in Nancy France (-9) and Innsbruck (-3) on the drive down to the Tirol. HP5 shot at 1600 (ID-11 for 21 mins) on the New F1 (24mm F2.8 Canon). Thanks for all the suggestions guys.

Shame you don’t ship across the pond. If you happen to have an M3 these are great.

Canon P just keeps going…….and the Canon LTM 50 1.4 and 35mm lenses are great…..

Thanks everyone for responding. Am taking the F1 but also an A1 body I bought yesterday as a back up……and I will take some pocket warmers and bags to protect them in! I must say the new F1 does have a beautiful viewfinder and the FD glass is still surprisingly reasonable used ……. And my copies...
