    Gift lens too new for my FT2?

    Early AIS had rabbit ears, later models did not. I don't think I have an AIS lens at the moment but I remember late ones had two little dimples right about the 5.6 on the aperture ring to show you where to drill if you wanted to add them

    Nope set auto to off ISO 640, still shows R05,,, dropping post, I shoot jpeg single shots doesn't affect my shots so I'll livbe with it, just wondered why and evidently no one on 3 forums knows

    While playing around in my bedroom with my D7100 and 50mm 1.4, ISO 800, aperture set at f2.0, camera selected shutter 320, viewfinder showed ISO 800 but as I pressed shutter release it changed to R05, pic comes out fine but why the ISO readout change?

    Just bought a D600 with 78k shutter count from Green Mountain Camera, after 20 yrs using FX lenses on DX bodies trying out FX

    I use the AF-D version on my D7100 with absolutely no problem at all with flowers and insects.

    Minolta X-700: A renovation project

    Hope you get it working, Used a X700 for years before being dropped at a wedding and the focus screen popped out. Still finished the wedding but local camera shop told me it couldn't be fixed, Wish I had went ahead and tried. Great camera!
